Clinical Site and Clinical Placement Policy

Clinical Sites

The Adherence of Clinical Sites is a very detailed process led by each specific Program Chair in the School of Health Studies. New clinical sites are vetted for quality, an appropriate learning environment, and whether the site can aid the student in meeting programmatic learning outcomes. Program Department Chairs make clinical decisions and follow a specific workflow in order to identify clinical sites that have the best fit for their specific program. Evaluations of clinical programs occur yearly by a designated person within the specific department.

Clinical Placement

Students enrolled in the LPN-BSN program are required to complete clinical experiences. All clinical placements are arranged and approved by the Nursing Department in collaboration with clinical affiliates.
